Weekly Update

• Planting has started on the farm: thyme, rosemary, marjoram, and sage are all sprouting on our basement seed shelf.

• Nova's swelling due to an infection is now gone thanks to antibiotics.

• Hatching Black Copper Maran chicks this week and excited to add chocolate colored eggs to our collection!

• Nixtamalized some of our heirloom Kentucky Rainbow Corn.

• Pressure canned beef and chicken broth for the first time.

• Ordered seed potatoes.

• Ordered heritage turkeys to be delivered in June.

• Made it to day 28 of our pantry challenge and getting low on butter and vegetables.
