Weekly Update

  • Garlic started sprouting

  • Collected 40 gallons of sap resulting in 1 gallon of maple syrup

  • Experimented with homemade yogurt using Dandy Breeze milk

  • Planted broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage using our new seed blockers

Quail Eggs

Summer shared that there has been research done that says quail eggs can help with asthma so she uses them as a supplement. She learned from an India native how to hard boil them. Here are the steps she shared with me:

1. Add 1/4 cup white vinegar to a small sauce pan and enough water to cover the eggs

2. Bring to a boil for 12 to 14 minutes stirring the whole time to create micro fractures

3. Five minute ice water bath

4. Peel
